Worthington National Bank Appoints Former Mayor Price to Board of Directors

March 14, 2022

Betsy PriceArlington-based Worthington National Bank recently appointed Betsy Price to its board of directors. She joins the board after a 10-year tenure as mayor of Fort Worth.

“Worthington is a homegrown bank that provides wonderful service to its customers,” Price says. “I’m pleased to be a small part of the team.

A graduate of the University of Texas–Arlington, Price’s introduction to public service came in 2000 when she was elected as Tarrant County’s tax assessor. In 2011, she set her focus on becoming Fort Worth’s mayor, a position she won and held for a decade. As mayor, Price focused on improving public safety, advocated for fiscal responsibility and championed job growth. She stepped down as mayor in 2021 to embark on a Tarrant County judge position.

“Betsy Price is a giant in Fort Worth,” says Greg Morse, Worthington National Bank CEO. “She’s a born leader who has dedicated her life to public service. Her tenacity and grit make her the perfect addition to our board.”

Established in 2002, Worthington National Bank operates branches in Arlington, Fort Worth and Colleyville.
