First United Mortgage Group Taps Schneider to Manage Mortgage Sales in San Antonio

Todd SchneiderTodd Schneider has joined the team at First United Mortgage Group, a division of Durant, Oklahoma-based First United Bank, to serve as mortgage market manager in San Antonio. He will lead the San Antonio and surrounding markets’ mortgage operations, increase brand awareness and visibility, grow and support the sales team, promote the bank, insurance, wealth management and other services offered by First United Bank, and assist mortgage clients with pursuing the American dream.

Before joining First United Bank, Schneider worked at Jefferson Bank in San Antonio for the past 15 years, serving for the past six-and-a-half years as senior vice president/mortgage lender and sales manager. Earlier in his career, he worked at Frost Bank, Republic State Mortgage and Financial Liberty Mortgage Services.

Schneider earned his BA degree in psychology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and an MBA degree from the University of Texas–San Antonio. He volunteers with Boerne 100 and Foundation San Antonio. He has been selected “Top Residential Mortgage Loan Originator” by the San Antonio Business Journal since 2013 and is a two-time “Platinum Top 50 Partner of the Year” (2021–22 and 2024–25), which recognizes exceptional real estate professionals.

“Todd has a wealth of knowledge and is a highly respected member of the communities we serve in and around the San Antonio area,” notes Darren Vittitow, senior vice president/senior managing director of mortgage sales. “His leadership will be significant as we build our presence there.”

Established in 1900, First United has more than 95 bank, mortgage and insurance locations across Oklahoma and Texas.
