Pilgrim Bank Adds Bockman to Lending Team

Garrett BockmanPittsburg-based Pilgrim Bank announced that it has added Garrett Bockman to its lending team. He will serve customers in Wise County and surrounding North Texas communities.

Bockman brings experience in commercial and community banking, including leadership roles with The Community Bank in Bridgeport, American National Bank & Trust in Decatur and First State Bank in Decatur. His banking experience includes relationship-based lending and credit analysis.

“We are thrilled to welcome Garrett to the Pilgrim Bank family,” says Brent Woodruff, CEO. “His background in commercial lending, credit analysis and community banking gives him a tremendous foundation for helping our customers succeed.”

Bockman earned a BBA degree in finance from Midwestern State University–Wichita Falls. He also completed the IBAT Bank Lending Institute, Leadership Decatur and the Texas Tech School of Banking. He is active with CASA of Wise and Jack counties, the Decatur Rotary Club and First Baptist Church Decatur. He also coaches youth sports through Decatur Little League and Wise County Little Dribblers.

Established in 1911, Pilgrim Bank operates 14 locations across Northeast Texas and the Texas Panhandle.
