Rottner Joins TexasBank as Wise County Market President to Coincide with Opening of New Decatur Branch

July 2, 2025

Andrew RottnerAs Brownwood-based TexasBank opens a new branch in Decatur this month, it has hired Andrew Rottner to serve as Wise County market president. He is a seasoned financial executive with more than 30 years of experience in banking. A grand opening event for the bank’s new Decatur branch is scheduled for 11 a.m.–2 p.m., July 9, at the new branch at 1415 S. FM 51.

Rottner’s career began in 1990 as a bookkeeper and teller for First National Bank of Texas in Decatur. Since then, he has served in senior leadership roles, including executive vice president and chief lending officer at First State Bank, president and CEO of North Texas Bank and Wise County market president for Wells Fargo Bank.

“[Rottner’s] proven leadership, broad experience and exceptional track record in growing both teams and portfolios make him a natural fit,” says Greg Dodds, president and CEO. “He understands community banking because he’s lived it, and that matters to us and to our customers.”

A longtime Decatur resident and former “Decatur Citizen of the Year,” Rottner has served in leadership roles with United Way, the Decatur Chamber of Commerce, WC Challenger Charities and the Center for Animal Research and Education, among others.

Established in 1966, TexasBank has 18 locations serving the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Central and West Texas.
