Jacobson Joins Oklahoma-based InterBank as Chief Financial Officer

Shalene JacobsonShalene Jacobson has joined Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based InterBank to serve as chief financial officer. She will be headquartered at the bank’s Fort Worth office. C.K. Lee, president and CEO, announced the new hire. Jacobson will lead the accounting, financial reporting, funds management, financial planning and analysis functions, as well as chair the bank’s asset/liability committee.

Jacobson joins InterBank after serving as senior executive vice president, chief financial officer and board member at Guaranty Bank in Dallas. Prior to joining Guaranty Bank & Trust, she spent 13 years working in public accounting, specializing in financial statement audits and consulting projects primarily for banks and private equity companies. Jacobson is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Auburn University–Montgomery and a Master of Accountancy degree from Auburn University. She is a certified public accountant and former certified internal auditor.

“The CFO is a key member of the bank’s executive team, and I am excited to have Shalene aboard,” Lee says. “Her depth of experience and expertise will add tremendous value to our operations, our strategic thinking and decision-making and our board-level discussions.”

Established in 1988, InterBank operates 47 branches across Oklahoma and Texas.
