Guerra and Biggs Join Texas Bank and Trust

February 1, 2024

Melody Guerra has been promoted to banking officer in the lending division of Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust in its Richardson location. She has been with the bank since 2015 and currently serves as lead administrative assistant. She supports lending officers, credit analysts and lending assistants, monitors and tracks daily reports, serves as draw coordinator for the Dallas/Fort Worth region and shares loan processing responsibilities. Guerra worked in accounting prior to joining Texas Bank and Trust.

In addition, Kay Biggs has been promoted to administrative officer and online consumer lending specialist in the bank’s main location in Longview. She has been with the bank since 2012 and has held various loan administrative positions. Biggs has worked extensively in the lending, title and banking fields since 1997. She is a recent graduate of the Texas Bank and Trust Impact Leadership Training program and holds an associate’s degree in business administration from Tyler Junior College.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 20 branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
