FirstCapital Bank of Texas Announces New Year Promotions in Amarillo

January 15, 2021

Midland-based FirstCapital Bank of Texas recently announced the promotions of the following employees in Amarillo.

Edmond Bachman has been promoted to vice president/relationship manager. Originally from Vernon, he has a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Midwestern State University and has been with FirstCapital Bank of Texas since 2014.

Jacob Ortega has been promoted to vice president/relationship manager. Originally from Amarillo, he has a finance degree from West Texas A&M University. Ortega has served with the bank since 2015.

Matt Smiley has been promoted to banking officer/portfolio manager. Originally from Amarillo, he has a finance degree from West Texas A&M University and specialized in commercial, agriculture and consumer banking. Smiley has served with FirstCapital Bank of Texas since 2019 and has worked in numerous banking positions.

Established in 1998, FirstCapital Bank of Texas has banking offices in Amarillo, Burkburnett, Byers, Dallas, Fredericksburg, Henrietta, Horseshoe Bay, Lubbock, Marble Falls, Midland and Wichita Falls.

FirstCapital Bank of Texas Announces New Year Promotions in Amarillo

Midland-based FirstCapital Bank of Texas recently announced the promotions of the following employees in Amarillo.
