First Financial Bankshares Names Morton Executive Vice President

February 5, 2024

Keith Morton First Financial Bankshares Inc., the holding company for Abilene-based First Financial Bank NA, has announced the appointment of Keith Morton to executive vice president/Houston credit administration. The announcement was made by Luke Longhofer, executive vice president/chief lending officer.

Morton previously served as senior vice president of special assets at Capital One Bank in Houston since 2020. During an extensive 20-year tenure at Capital One Bank in Houston, he was a credit underwriting manager, senior underwriter and credit analyst manager.

Morton received a BBA degree in finance from McNeese State University and an MBA degree in finance from Louisiana State University. He holds a credit risk certification from the Risk Management Association.

Morton fills the role previously held by Marna Yerigan. In a press release announcing the succession, the bank notes that, “While we are thrilled to welcome Keith to the First Financial team, we would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Marna Yerigan for the great work she has done preceding Keith in this role. She has left an immeasurable, positive impact on our company that we will continue to feel for many years to come. Marna exemplifies our customer service first philosophy with her unmatched passion for excellence.”

Established in 1890, First Financial Bank NA operates 79 locations in Texas.

First Financial Bankshares Names Morton Executive Vice President
