Birmingham, Alabama-based ServisFirst Bank has hired Cody Cannon to serve as executive vice president/Houston market president. He joins the bank with more than 25 years of experience. Cannon will lead efforts to establish and grow ServisFirst Bank’s Houston team.
Throughout his career, Cannon has successfully launched and expanded banking operations, recruited high-performing teams and developed long-term relationships with middle-market and commercial clients across a variety of industries. He has managed large commercial loan and deposit portfolios, structured complex credit facilities and delivered comprehensive financial solutions for businesses spanning manufacturing, distribution, construction, engineering, franchise, technology and other key industries. He has also led market expansion initiatives, recruited top banking talent and consistently generated significant commercial loan and deposit growth.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Cannon is an active member of the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region and the Association for Corporate Growth. He previously served on the advisory council for the Center for New Venture & Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University and as a board member of The Entrepreneurship Institute. He currently serves on the board of Devereux School.
