Seagoville’s Homebank Texas Hires Mills as Dallas Market President

September 18, 2026

Marcelo MillsSeagoville-based Homebank Texas has hired Marcelo Mills as senior vice president and Dallas market president. He joins Homebank after serving nearly three years at Terrell-based American National Bank of Texas as emerging markets president, during which he focused on building relationships with businesses, entrepreneurs and residents in South Dallas. During his tenure, the bank opened a loan production office in South Dallas.

In 2021, Mills helped found Integro Bank in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served as senior vice president and head of business banking, overseeing commercial real estate and conventional commercial-and-industrial lending. The de novo bank opened in 2022. He returned to North Texas in 2023. Mills’ earlier banking experience includes positions with JPMorgan Chase, First Citizens Bank and Pacific Mercantile Bank.

Mills expressed one of his goals in his new job to the Dallas Business Journal: “My vision would be to continue to grow into Dallas, and whether that means more locations or bigger services, I’m not sure yet.”

Mills grew up in Haslet and attended Texas A&M University–Commerce. He has served on multiple boards for local and national nonprofit organizations.

Established in 1952, Homebank Texas serves Seagoville, Dallas and Rockwall.
