VeraBank Promotes Nofi to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

June 27, 2024

Cameron NofiHenderson-based VeraBank has promoted Cameron Nofi to executive vice president and chief financial officer. Cameron, who has been with the bank since 2021, most recently held the role of senior vice president/director of finance. In that position, he had oversight and responsibility for the bank’s financial planning and analysis, asset-liability monitoring and reporting. Prior to joining VeraBank, Nofi focused on accounting and finance for both public and private community and regional banks.

“With Cameron’s exceptional performance as director of finance and his impressive background in finance, he is absolutely the right person to take on this important leadership role,” says Brad Tidwell, president and CEO. “I have the utmost confidence in his mastery of both our finances and the complexities of the financial services industry. That combined with his commitment to the bank’s growth and success across Texas communities makes him the ideal person for our CFO position.”

Nofi earned a BBA degree from Dallas Baptist University and an MS degree in accountancy from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Nofi is a licensed certified public accountant in Texas and a chartered financial analyst. An Austin native, Nofi gives back to his hometown volunteering with and serving on the board of the First Tee–Greater Austin.

Established in 1991, VeraBank serves 19 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with 39 branches.
