Guaranty Bank & Trust Celebrates Dyess’ Prestigious 2025 Bank Compliance Leader Award

Buffy DyeesOn June 13, Addison-based Guaranty Bank & Trust NA announced that Buffy Dyess, senior vice president/chief compliance officer, has been honored with the prestigious 2025 Bank Compliance Leader Award for the Texas region, presented by Compliance Alliance. The award recognizes exceptional contributions as a compliance leader, as well as having a significant impact on the community and the compliance industry.

“We are incredibly proud of Buffy for this well-deserved recognition,” says Robin Sharp, executive vice president/chief risk officer. “Her dedication to compliance and her unwavering commitment to excellence have set a benchmark in the industry. This award is a testament to her hard work and the positive impact she has made.”

Dyess joined Guaranty Bank & Trust in 2012 as senior vice president/chief compliance officer.

Established in 1913, Guaranty Bank & Trust NA has 33 banking locations across 26 communities in East Texas, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and Central Texas.
