Ohio-based U.S. Bank Hires Batie for Government and Higher Education Banking in Texas and Oklahoma

Keba BatieKeba Batie has joined Cincinnati, Ohio-based U.S. Bank as senior vice president in the bank’s government banking and higher education group, covering Texas and Oklahoma. Based in Dallas, he will focus on delivering tailored financial solutions to public sector clients such as cities, counties, states, tribal authorities, school districts and higher education institutions.

Batie brings more than 26 years of experience to his new position, including the past 21 years at JPMorgan Chase in various leadership roles. For the past four years, he was executive director/agency and off-balance sheet and a senior banker for Chase.

Batie earned a bachelor’s degree in business/corporate communications from Arizona State University. He received an MBA degree in business administration and management from Baylor University and a master’s degree in extension studies/finance from Harvard University. In addition, Batie holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Active in the community, he has served on the board of Fair Park First in Dallas and as executive director of the Mansfield Cedar Hill Kappa Foundation, which is aimed at youth mentorship, leadership development and educational scholarships.

Established in 2018, U.S. Bank, the fifth-largest commercial bank in the U.S., manages over $664 billion in assets and employs more than 2,500 in Texas.
