Texas Gulf Bank Promotes Cash to Chief Credit Officer

July 17, 2026

Jessica CashJessica Cash has been promoted to chief credit officer at Houston-based Texas Gulf Bank. Since joining in 2022, she has overseen credit department operations, led the implementation of the bank’s loan origination system and built a credit analyst training program. In her new role, she will lead the bank’s credit strategy and risk governance as the organization grows across the Houston region.

Cash has held credit and regulatory roles across the industry. Before joining Texas Gulf Bank, she was a credit training manager and bank officer in Houston for Allegiance Bank and served at the bank for almost eight years. Prior to that, she served as a national bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Earlier in her career, she was a licensed personal banker at JPMorgan Chase Bank.

Cash earned a BBA degree in finance from Sam Houston State University. She is also enrolled at the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and expects to graduate in May 2027.

Established in 1913, Texas Gulf Bank operates nine banking offices in the greater Houston area and along the Texas Gulf Coast.
