SouthStar Bank Welcomes Bourland as Senior Vice President of Lending in Bee Cave

Steven BourlandSteven Bourland has joined Moulton-based SouthStar Bank’s Bee Cave team as a senior vice president of lending. He has more than three decades of experience in the finance industry and has expertise across several areas of lending, with an emphasis on commercial loans and commercial real estate loans.

Bourland previously served as senior vice president at First National Bank of Bastrop for three years and, prior to that, was a senior vice president at Independent Financial. He started his banking career in the Austin area at Pioneer Bank SSB. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University and is a certified public accountant.

Established in 1920, SouthStar Bank has 16 full-service branches in Central Texas and the Texas Gulf Coast, plus a loan production office in Austin.
