Louisiana-based Origin Bank Hires Theriot and Whitmire to Join Dallas Mortgage Team

Choudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank has announced that GP Theriot IV and Adam Whitmire have joined the company’s home lending team in North Texas. They are both officed at the bank’s Dallas financial center located at 3838 Oak Lawn Ave. in Dallas.

GP TheriotTheriot joins Origin Bank as a senior mortgage loan officer and sales manager. With 20 years of experience in the banking industry, he specializes in real estate lending. A former captain in the U.S. Army, he is passionate about helping his fellow veterans achieve their home financing goals through the VA Home Loans program. He also has extensive experience with construction, jumbo and physician loans. Theriot holds a BA degree in advertising with a minor in marketing from Louisiana State University. He serves as president of the Friends of Lakewood Elementary School and previously served as the district representative for Lakewood Neighborhood Association.

Adam WhitmireWhitmire serves as production partner/loan officer at Origin Bank. He has more than 15 years of banking experience, specializing in residential mortgage loans. Previously, he was a commercial lender, business banker and real estate agent. In his current role, he will support Theriot as a production partner, managing loan files from first connection through closing while also helping to organize, cultivate, maintain and grow his mortgage loan business. Whitmire earned a BBA degree and marketing from the University of Texas–Austin.
