VeraBank Welcomes Brannon as Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker in College Station

June 12, 2025

Billy BrannonHenderson-based VeraBank announced the addition of William “Billy” Brannon as senior vice president and commercial banker at the College Station location. He joins the bank with extensive experience in various sectors of commercial banking, including homebuilder finance, land acquisition, development lending and SBA lending. VeraBank will be expanding its presence in College Station with the opening of a second location at 3000 Barron Rd. in early June.

“Billy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in commercial banking, and we’re thrilled to have him join our team in College Station,” says Joel Jackson, senior executive vice president, chief lending officer and Southeast region chair. “His commitment to exceptional service and helping businesses grow aligns perfectly with VeraBank’s mission, and we look forward to seeing his positive impact in the community.”

Brannon earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA degree in finance and banking/financial institutions from Sam Houston State University. He actively participates in the Conroe Noon Lions Club, local chambers and the Montgomery ISD Education Foundation.

Established in 1930, VeraBank serves 19 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with a network of 39 branches.
