Shea Ferland, senior vice president/team resources manager at Midland-based FirstCapital Bank of Texas, has been selected to serve on the Texas Bankers Foundation’s board of directors. She has been with FirstCapital Bank of Texas since 2008.

The Texas Bankers Foundation is the charitable arm of the Texas Bankers Association. It as launched in 1991 “to serve and support Texas banks, their employees and communities through programs that reflect the care and concern that Texas banks show in their communities each day.” Initiatives include giving back, financial literacy, banking scholarships, higher education, bank robbery prevention and community involvement.

Established in 1998, FirstCapital Bank of Texas has banking offices in Amarillo, Burkburnett, Byers, Dallas, Fredericksburg, Henrietta, Horseshoe Bay, Lubbock, Marble Falls, Midland and Wichita Falls.
