Western Heritage Bank Promotes Carrillo to Chief Loan Administrator Officer

February 15, 2022

Kathy CarrilloLas Cruces, New Mexico-based Western Heritage Bank recently announced that Kathy Carrillo has been promoted to chief loan administrator officer. She will oversee loan operations for the El Paso and Las Cruces markets and continue to manage the bank’s residential construction lending.

Carrillo has more than 35 years of mortgage, commercial and community banking experience. She is registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and is a graduate of both the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and the Western States School of Banking.

“We couldn’t be more excited to promote Kathy to her new position,” says Greg Cory, president and CEO. “She was instrumental in transitioning Pioneer Bank–El Paso to Western Heritage Bank in 2018. She brings immense value to our team.”

Established in 2001, Western Heritage Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of New Mexico First Financial Inc. It operates in El Paso, as well as New Mexico locations in Las Cruces and Deming.
