Amanda McChesney has been appointed executive vice president and chief credit officer at San Antoinio-based Texas Partners Bank. She will focus on developing credit risk policies, strategies and portfolio management.
With more than 17 years of commercial banking experience, McChesney previously served as senior vice president and credit executive at Texas Partners Bank, covering the San Antonio and Austin regions. She also worked as a relationship manager in commercial and private banking. Prior to joining Texas Partners Bank, she served as a relationship manager and commercial lender at Amegy Bank in San Antonio and Houston.
McChesney earned her BBA degree in finance from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University and an MBA degree in finance from the University of Texas–San Antonio. She currently volunteers with the Junior League of San Antonio and sits on the board and finance committee of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation. McChesney also participated in the LeaderBOARD Community Leadership Academy, which provides training on the operation and function of nonprofit boards and prepares participants to serve as effective, successful leaders on local boards. In addition, she is a member of the Risk Management Association.
Established in 2007, Texas Partners Bank has 11 branches in Central Texas, including San Antonio and Austin.
