American National Bank & Trust Appoints Leveridge Chief Risk Officer

Judy LeveridgeWichita Falls-based American National Bank & Trust has appointed Judy Leveridge chief risk officer. She brings more than 30 years of banking industry experience to her new role, with a diverse background spanning credit, risk management, operations, compliance and regulatory liaison.

“Judy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience around the discipline of credit, risk management, operations, compliance and serving as a bank regulatory liaison,” says Dwight Berry, president and CEO. “Her past contributions in the banking industry align perfectly with the bank’s vision and goals in the unprecedented growth we’re experiencing.”

Prior to joining American National Bank & Trust, Leveridge served as a regulatory relations officer at First United Bank. Before that, she was chief credit officer at Northstar Bank in Denton for 14 years. Earlier in her career, Leveridge was a bank examiner with the Arkansas Department of Banking and then the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Leveridge received her BSBA degree in finance and banking from the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of the Leadership Denton program. She has served as an advisory board member for the Salvation Army, a board member of the Ponder Booster Club and assistant basketball coach for the Ponder Athletic League.

Established in 1976, American National Bank & Trust operates 12 banking offices in North Texas, the Texas Panhandle and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
