Corpus Christi-based American Bank has announced the hiring of Diego Ramirez to serve as treasury management sales officer for the bank’s San Antonio, Austin and Houston markets. He will office at the San Antonio 281 location. Making the announcement was Cassandra Wiggins, director of treasury management.
Ramirez joins American Bank after spending the past nine years at Vantage Bank, based in San Antonio. During his time there, he served in a variety of roles, including premier relationship manager, banking advisor and relationship banker.
Ramirez holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley and an MBA degree from St. Mary’s University. He is also pursuing an MS degree in business analytics from the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley. Ramirez is a member of the Austin and San Antonio chapters of the Association of Financial Professionals and is a member of Asociación de Empresarios Mexicanos.
