Pilgrim Bank Appoints Lawrence and Strube to Board

January 15, 2026

Ken Pilgrim, senior chairman, and Lonnie Pilgrim, chairman,  along with the Pittsburg-based Pilgrim Bank board of directors, have announced two new additions to the bank’s board: dentist Danny Lawrence and attorney Ramsey Strube.

Danny LawrenceLawrence is the owner and practicing dentist at Sulphur Springs Dental and is a lifelong resident of Hopkins County. He earned a BS degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Texas Tech University and later completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, College of Dentistry. In addition to his professional career, Lawrence is deeply involved in the Sulphur Springs community. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs, serving on its finance committee and participating in the Nicaragua Mission Team. He has taken part in multiple dental mission trips to Nicaragua, the Philippines, Jamaica and Honduras, providing care to underserved populations.

“Danny Lawrence brings a rare combination of professional excellence, financial insight and a heart for service,” notes Ken Pilgrim. “His long-standing commitment to our communities and his leadership experience make him a natural fit for Pilgrim Bank’s board.”

Ramsey StrubeStrube currently practices law and is based in Pittsburg while residing in Mount Pleasant. He brings a strong background in business, law and community leadership to Pilgrim Bank. He grew up in Mount Pleasant and earned a BBA degree from the University of Texas–Austin. He went on to earn his JD degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth. Strube is actively involved in the community and is a member of Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church, serving as administrative board chairman. He also serves on the board of the Mount Pleasant Youth Baseball Association.

“Ramsey’s local roots and commitment to service reflect the values on which Pilgrim Bank was founded,” says Lonnie Pilgrim. “His experience in law and community leadership will help guide our organization as we continue to support the financial needs of the families and businesses we serve.”

Established in 1946, Pilgrim Bank operates more than a dozen banking offices across North Texas and the Texas panhandle.

Pilgrim Bank Appoints Lawrence and Strube to Board
