Fort Worth-based NBT Financial Bank announced two new hires and four promotions in July.
Janice Spooner has joined NBT Financial Bank as senior vice president/Grapevine market president. She has more than 37 years of banking experience, specializing in commercial and consumer lending. Spooner is a graduate of the Texas Bankers Association Management Development Program and the Cox School of Business Management Program at Southern Methodist University.
Ashley Wells joined NBT Financial Bank as an assistant vice president/loan officer. She is a graduate of Midwestern State University and is involved in several volunteer organizations, including the Sigma Kappa Alumni Group and Rotary Club International.
Shaylee Pierick has been promoted to assistant vice president/assistant branch manager at NBT Financial Bank’s Willow Park location. She began her banking career as a teller and moved on to work as an operations specialist. She joined NBT Financial in 2023.
NBT Financial Bank has promoted Shawn McCage to first vice president/assistant cashier. In this role, she will oversee operations at all NBT branches. She has been in banking since 2007, holding positions as vice president/market manager and vice president/consumer lender. McCage is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
Julian Castillo has been promoted to North Fort Worth branch president. He joined NBT Financial Bank in 2023 as first vice president/loan officer. Castillo is a graduate of the University of Texas–Arlington.
Jason Ballou has been promoted to West Fort Worth branch president. He joined NBT Financial Bank in 2018 as an assistant vice president/credit analyst. Ballou attended Wayland Baptist University.
