National Bank & Trust Welcomes Laffee as Chief Financial Officer

September 4, 2020

David LaffeeLa Grange-based National Bank and Trust-Texas has hired David Laffee to serve as chief financial officer. He stepped into the role of CFO in April and will serve as treasurer of the bank’s holding company as well. Laffee has more than 15 years of experience as a CFO for various financial institutions ranging in size from $125 million to $2.3 billion in assets.  He has also worked for BDO and RSM, both of which are among the top 10 largest CPA firms in the nation. While in public accounting, Lafee concentrated on external and internal audits in the financial institution division.

Lafee holds a bachelor’s degree in science-accountancy from DePaul University and an MBA degree in finance from Lewis University. He passed his CPA exam in 1999.

Established in 1888, National Bank & Trust reports assets of approximately $217 million.
