Affiliated Bank Promotes Burleson to Director of Commercial Banking

September 4, 2020

Josh BurlesonArlington-based Affiliated Bank recently promoted Josh Burleson to director of commercial banking. He will oversee commercial lending and SBA, and will remain involved in the strategy and growth of credit products and treasury management services. Burleson joined Affiliated Bank in 2018 and has 15 years of commercial and corporate banking experience.

Burleson earned his MBA degree from Texas Tech University, where he also earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a 2015 graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate and Wharton Leadership Program. Burleson is an active community leader and currently serves on the board of directors for Young Men for Arlington and the Tarrant County Bankers Association. “Josh has been a critical part of Affiliated Bank’s success and growth over the past few years,” says Carl Cravens, chief lending officer. “His extensive knowledge in dealing with complex transactions across various industries will make him the perfect fit for this important role with Affiliated Bank.”

Established in 1959, Affiliated Bank has more than $1.1 billion in total assets and operates five branches in Arlington, Bedford, Fort Worth, Garland and Round Rock. The bank also has seven mortgage locations in Arlington, Brownwood, Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Round Rock and Waco, as well as a dedicated SBA office in Arlington.
