On January 8, Bowie-based Legend Bank announced the appointment of Ricky Taylor as Wichita Falls branch president/senior vice president and Colton Sheffield as vice president/commercial lender in North Richland Hills.
Taylor has been in the financial industry for more than 20 years, specializing in agriculture, commercial real estate, small business, equipment and construction loan needs. He graduated from Midwestern State University and serves as a volunteer for Wichita Falls Meals on Wheels. He also previously served on the Leadership Wichita Falls board of directors.

Sheffield has been in community banking for more than six years. He began his career as a commercial underwriter and commercial underwriting officer, then transitioned to portfolio manager. Sheffield earned his BBA degree in finance from Tarleton State University. He currently serves as treasurer of the Tarleton Alumni Association board of directors.
