American National Bank & Trust Appoints Layton Senior Vice President of Branding and Marketing

David LaytonWichita Falls-based American National Bank & Trust announced the appointment of David Layton as senior vice president of branding and marketing. He is a seasoned professional with more than two decades of experience in bank retail and marketing, bringing a wealth of expertise in branding, marketing, public relations and communications from the higher education and health care sectors.

This appointment marks a significant milestone for American National Bank & Trust as it expands its marketing efforts. Layton’s hire as the marketing director highlights the bank’s commitment to strengthening its brand presence and market reach through targeted advertising strategies.

In his new role, Layton will be responsible for leading American National Bank & Trust’s branding and marketing initiatives. He will oversee external advertising agency relationships and projects, collaborating with bank leadership to strengthen the company’s advertising presence and public relations efforts. Layton will also work closely with the compliance department to ensure all marketing activities adhere to regulatory standards, while also focusing on improving efficiency and fiduciary responsibilities in advertising.

Established in 1976, American National Bank & Trust serves communities from the Red River to Houston with 12 offices.
