Yoakum-based Yoakum National Bank has announced the hiring of a new lender for its West Houston loan production office, as well as the promotion of a lender in Odessa.
Graydon Rochelle has been hired as vice president/commercial lending for the bank’s LPO in West Houston, responsible for generating and supporting both individual and commercial relationships in the area. He has more than 13 years of experience in banking with much of his career spent at Arkansas-based Arvest Bank. Most recently Rochelle was a commercial loan officer with Guaranty Bank & Trust in Houston.
Rochelle holds a BSBA in finance, investments and insurance from the University of Arkansas. He enjoys engaging with his community as an active member of the Katy Economic Development Council and as the vice president of the Rotary Club of Katy.
Becky Griffith has been named vice president/commercial lending for the bank’s loan production office in Odessa. She has spent much of her more than 25-year banking career in both the loan compliance and credit divisions. She will now be client-facing and have responsibilities for loan generation and maintaining client relationships in West Texas. Griffith graduated from the University of Texas–Permian Basin with a BBA degree in management.
“Griffith’s depth and breadth of experience in the lending sector, along with her deep connection to the Odessa community, make her new position an intuitive next step about which the Yoakum National Bank team is very excited,” the bank notes.
Established in 1890, Yoakum National Bank is independently owned and operated, serving communities and small-business customers in DeWitt and Lavaca counties, West Houston and the Permian Basin.
