On December 14, El Paso-based WestStar Bank announced that David W. Osborn, president and CEO, has been inducted into the El Paso Business Hall of Fame. The El Paso Business Hall of Fame, presented by Junior Achievement of El Paso, recognizes business leaders who have made enduring contributions to El Paso.
“I am honored to join other local leaders in the El Paso Business Hall of Fame,” Osborn says. “During my tenure at WestStar, our focus is always on building personal relationships with our clients to help them through their business journey. I am grateful to have the opportunity to help contribute to the growth of our community.”
Osborn received his BBA degree from McMurry University and is an alumnus of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, where he received the Recognition of Leadership honor. He serves as chair of the finance committee at McMurry University, board chair for Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare, vice chair of the Texas Bankers Association and first vice chair of the Borderplex Alliance. He also sits on the advisory council of the Rawls College of Business Excellence in Banking Program at Texas Tech University.
