Vérot Moore, Amerant Bank’s Houston Market President, Named “Women Who Mean Business” Honoree

November 2, 2023

Caroline Vérot MooreCaroline Vérot Moore, executive vice president and Houston market president at Coral Gables, Florida-based Amerant Bank, was recently honored by the Houston Business Journal at its 2023 “Women Who Mean Business” Awards luncheon. The event was held in Houston on October 13.

The award honors women across nine industry categories, as well as a “Woman to Watch” category. The Houston Business Journal’s criteria for selection included career achievement, contributions to corporate and city success, community involvement and leadership.

Vérot Moore, one of 90 honorees chosen for demonstrating leadership excellence in their careers and community, was also recognized in a special section of the Journal’s October 13 edition.

“Being named by the Houston Business Journal…is especially meaningful for me,” Vérot Moore says. “Earlier this year, I joined Amerant Bank as its Houston market president. I am embracing this new role and am focused on supporting our strategic growth goals and partnerships, such as our new relationship with Rice University Athletics as its ‘official bank.’’

Established in 1979, Amerant Bank NA is the largest community bank headquartered in Florida, with a presence across South Florida, as well as Tampa, Florida, and Houston, Texas.
