VeraBank Welcomes Nofi as Senior Vice President

March 14, 2022

Cameron NofiHenderson-based VeraBank recently welcomed Cameron Nofi to serve as senior vice president at the bank’s new downtown Austin location. He has oversight and responsibility for financial planning analysis and asset/liability monitoring and reporting.

Nofi has more than a decade of experience in banking, with a focus on accounting and finance for both public and private community and regional banks. Prior to joining VeraBank, he served as senior vice president and controller at Pioneer Bank SSB in Austin and as manager of assurance with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Dallas.

“In his short time here, Cameron has already played a pivotal role in enhancing the bank’s financial analysis initiatives and strategic planning efforts,” says Todd Engemoen, chief financial officer.

He is a licensed certified public accountant in Texas and New York, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

An Austin native, Nofi gives back to his hometown as a member of the Young Men’s Business League of Austin. In addition, he volunteers with the Austin Sunshine Camp.

Established in 1930. VeraBank is a privately owned community bank that serves 16 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with a network of 38 branches, $3.7 billion in assets and trust assets under management of approximately $950 million.
