VeraBank Promotes Biggs to Regional Manager

February 6, 2024

Brett BiggsHenderson-baseed VeraBank has promoted Brett Biggs, senior vice president, to regional manager. In this role, he will oversee both Henderson locations along with the Carthage and Mt. Enterprise branches.

“Brett is a widely respected leader amongst the community and embodies the bank’s culture to provide a genuine banking experience to those we serve,” says Brad Tidwell, president and CEO. “His extensive banking career, combined with his ability to motivate and develop team members, make him a natural fit for this role.”

Biggs has been with VeraBank since the 2021 acquisition of Panola National Bank. His banking career spans nearly three decades. A Carthage native, his roots run deep in the community and Biggs enjoys investing back in his hometown by serving on the Carthage ISD Education Foundation board, City of Carthage hotel/motel occupancy tax board, Fair Play Water Supply System board and the First Methodist Church Carthage administrative council.

“Brett continually contributes to local initiatives and fosters positive community connections,” says Michael Moores, executive vice president and chief lending officer.

Established in 1970, VeraBank serves 19 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with a network of 39 branches.
