Henderson-based VeraBank has tapped Ronnie Powell, CFP, to serve as senior vice president/senior wealth advisor on the bank’s wealth management team in downtown Austin. He has been in wealth management for 28 years and most recently served as Austin region president for Northern Trust and as senior wealth advisor for Wells Fargo Private Bank. In his new role, Powell will focus on strategic investment planning, retirement income planning, liability management and comprehensive wealth management solutions.
“Ronnie has significant experience working in financial institutions and wealth management, and his extensive knowledge in investment management will serve our clients well,” says Brad Tidwell, president and CEO.

Powell holds a BBA degree from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He previously served on the board of the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum and the Eanes Education Foundation.
