VeraBank Hires Crosswell for Business Development in Austin, Patrick for Mortgage Banking in Tyler

September 14, 2023

Henderson-based VeraBank has hired two bankers to serve its customers in Austin and Tyler.

Barrett CrosswellBarrett Crosswell will serve as business development officer for the Austin market. Working from the bank’s downtown Austin office on Sixth Street, she will use her sales and marketing experience to broaden outreach to new and existing VeraBank customers.

“We are excited to welcome Barrett to the team where we know she will be successful in fostering new business relationships and providing exceptional service to our existing clients,” says Michael Ramirez, senior vice president and market president. “Barrett shares the same customer-driven, genuine service philosophy for which VeraBank is known.”

“VeraBank is committed to delivering exceptional banking services, building meaningful relationships, and supporting the economic development of the Austin market,” says Brad Tidwell, president and CEO. “With these strategic appointments to our team, we are well-positioned to continue serving as a trusted financial partner for both businesses and individuals in the area.”

Crosswell holds a BS degree in kinesiology and health, health promotion and behavioral science from the University of Texas–Austin.

Madeleine PatrickMadeleine Patrick to serve as a mortgage banker in Tyler. She joined VeraBank in 2021 as a relationship banker.

“We are fortunate to have someone of Madeleine’s caliber on our mortgage team,” says Andrew Adams, senior vice president and regional manager. “She is extremely hard-working and is vested in creating client relationships that build upon trust and last beyond closing.”

“We are thrilled to continue growing and expanding in the Tyler market with such top-quality talent,” says Brad Tidwell, president and CEO. “Madeleine will complement our existing team and will help us build even stronger relationships within the community.”

Patrick was recently appointed to the Junior Achievement Tyler board of directors.

Established in 1930, VeraBank serves 19 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with 39 branches.
