TrustTexas Bank Names New Chief Operating Officer, Chief Lending Officer and Loan Officer

January 14, 2024

On January 8, Cuero-based TrustTexas Bank announced recent promotions of three team members within the organization.

N. Michael Warzecha has been promoted to executive vice president/chief operating officer. In a press release announcing the promotion, the bank states: “Since joining TrustTexas Bank, Warzecha has contributed to the success of the bank by providing leadership, management and vision, and will continue to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes. His strong analytical skills, coupled with his ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members, make him an invaluable asset to the bank.”

Christi Cornel has been promoted to executive vice president/chief lending officer. According to the announcement, the bank “recognizes her exceptional track record of delivering exceptional lending solutions to customers. With a focus on personalized service and a deep understanding of the local market, Cornel has been instrumental in driving the bank’s lending division to new heights. Her commitment to providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships with customers will continue to drive the success of the bank’s lending efforts.

The promotion of Kyle Suer to assistant vice president/loan officer is, according to the press release, “a testament to his hard work and dedication. Since joining TrustTexas Bank, Suer has demonstrated exceptional skills in loan origination and risk management. His attention to detail and ability to navigate the complex lending process have earned him the trust and respect of both customers and team members.”

“These promotions are a testament to their hard work, dedication and commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients,” says John D. “Jay” Howard, president and CEO.

Established in 1921, TrustTexas Bank has branches in Cuero, Yorktown, Kyle, New Braunfels and two in Victoria.
