Lee Herron, Mike Monroe and Mark Piland have joined Brownwood-based TexasBank as senior vice presidents in commercial lending, advancing the bank’s growing presence in construction lending across Dallas/Fort Worth and all North Texas.
“These guys are truly the cream of the crop when it comes to DFW construction lending,” says Lin Bearden, chief lending officer. “They have a deep knowledge of the North Texas market.”
Herron has more than 50 years of lending experience, focusing on financing residential homebuilders and residential lot developers. He is actively involved in the Midwest Food Bank, MidCities SOS, raising funds for Safehaven of Tarrant County and holds membership in the Fort Worth Mortgage Bankers Association and Greater Fort Worth Builders Association.
Monroe brings more than 25 years of lending experience to TexasBank. A graduate of the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, he has experience not only as a commercial lender, but with a successful mortgage portfolio as well. His experience also includes managing/training junior commercial lenders. Monroe is active in numerous charitable efforts, including the Midwest Food Bank.
Piland has been helping Texas builders and developers for nearly 15 years. He is an avid golfer and member of several professional clubs and networking groups across Dallas and North Texas.
“We are really excited to welcome a team like this to the TexasBank brand,” says Greg Dodds, president and CEO. “Their reputations precede them, especially with their longtime customers who have come to depend upon the extraordinary service and insight they provide.”
Established in 1966, TexasBank operates 19 banking offices in North and Central Texas.
