David Baty, president and CEO of Frisco-based Texas Republic Bank, recently announced a key hiring and several promotions.
Carly Hollaway has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president/loan operations manager. She started her banking career two decades ago with the bulk of her experience in loan operations supervision and management roles.
Brian Burke has been promoted from senior credit analyst to credit administration officer, having joined Texas Republic Bank in 2016. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where he also earned a minor in economics.
Hang Le has been promoted from credit analyst to loan officer. She joined Texas Republic Bank in 2019. Le holds a BBA degree in accounting from the University of Texas–Arlington and recently earned her MBA degree from Texas Wesleyan University. She has volunteered for Junior Achievement and other youth programs that help inspire and prepare future generations.
Gary Carley has joined Texas Republic Bank as executive vice president. He started his career in banking in 1971 after graduating from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He also graduated from the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. Carley has served on many civic boards and is currently vice chair of Frisco Economic Development Corp. and treasurer of the Frisco Education Foundation. He also serves on the boards of Medical City Hospital Plano/Frisco, Frisco Family Services and Museum of the American Railroad.
Daniel Nam has been promoted from banking officer to assistant vice president, having joined Texas Republic Bank in 2016 as a credit analyst. He is in his 10th year of banking, having started his career with JPMorgan Chase as a relationship banker, during which he was recognized as a “National Achiever” in 2015. Nam has served as worship leader for Disciple Baptist Church for the past 12 years.
Jenni Higgins has been promoted from lending assistant to banking officer. She joined Texas Republic Bank in 2019. Higgins has more than 10 years of experience in real estate and mortgage processing, having led teams for First National Bank of Trenton and Colonial National Mortgage. Outside of her banking career, she is involved with her children’s activities, having served as her daughter’s soccer team coach and in parent groups for her sons’ varsity football team and National Honor Society.
Ron Corcoran has been promoted from executive vice president to market president in Celina. With more than 30 years in banking, he has been employed at Texas Republic for the past nine-and-a-half years. Corcoran has served the Frisco community as a member of Sunrise Rotary of Frisco and as a board member for the Frisco Literacy Foundation. He is a graduate of Leadership Frisco.
