Texas Bank Promotes Braden and Polanco

March 2, 2022

San Angelo-based Texas Bank recently announced the promotions of Brandon Braden and Maryellen Lira Polanco.

Braden was promoted to executive vice president. He began his banking career in 1991. After earning his BBA degree from Angelo State University, he joined Texas Bank in 1997 as a banking officer in its ag department. In 2002, Braden was promoted to vice president of ag lending, and, in 2014, to senior vice president.

In the lending department, Maryellen Lira Polanco will take the role of credit officer. She has been with Texas Bank for 16 years. Polanco earned an associate degree from Howard College and will soon graduate from Angelo State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Established in 1963, Texas Bank operates three branches in San Angelo.
