Texas Bank and Trust Promotes Beadle to HR Director, Norton Joins Team as Mortgage Loan Originator

Shannon BeadleLongview-based Texas Bank and Trust announced in mid-July that Shannon Beadle has been promoted to senior vice president and director of human resources, and Adam Norton has joined the staff as vice president and mortgage loan originator in its Longview mortgage division.

Beadle has been employed in the bank’s human resources division since 2010. She is a graduate of the bank’s 2012 Leadership Class and 2017 Corporate University, and is currently participating in the Independent Bankers Association of Texas’ Bank Operations Institute. A Louisiana native,  Beadle earned a BSBA degree from Adam NortonNorthwestern State University in Natchitoches and completed the Human Resource Management School through the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. She holds a PHR certification through the HR Certification Institute and an SHRM-CP certification through the Society for Human Resource Management. Beadle serves on the Texas Shakespeare Festival Foundation board and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Longview.

Norton has been involved in real estate lending for more than 20 years. He holds a BBA degree from York College in Nebraska and is a graduate of the Southwest CUNA Management School. Norton has served on the board for the Hallsville Hoops youth basketball league for four years, serving as board president for the past two years.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 21 full-service branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
