On March 18, multiple promotions were announced at Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust’s employee awards dinner.
Cascey Freeman has been promoted to vice president/branch manager in Overton. Employed with the bank since 2014, she has managed the bank’s Overton branch since 2023, having previously served as both a consumer lender and lending assistant. A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Freeman holds a BS degree in criminal justice and earned a diploma in consumer lending from the American Institute of Banking. She is also a graduate of Texas Bank and Trust’s Leadership Academy. Freeman is active in the Overton community, serving in various leadership roles, including as board chair of the Overton Housing Authority, board member of the Overton Rotary Club and a committee member for Texas A&M Institutional Biosafety. She also previously served on the Overton ISD board of trustees.
Nick Anderson was promoted to assistant vice president/treasury management sales and solutions manager in Richardson. He joined the bank in 2023 as a business development officer in the treasury management department. He was promoted to assistant vice president/treasury management sales and solutions manager in March. Anderson holds a BS degree in management from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, where he was a four-year varsity letterman in basketball. Anderson went on to earn an MBA degree in finance from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Kenneth Gomez was promoted to assistant vice president/financial reporting manager in Longview. He has more than 12 years of banking experience. He joined Texas Bank and Trust in 2022 as a financial reporting specialist, having previously served as a senior auditor and credit analyst at other East Texas area financial services companies. Gomez holds a BBA degree and a masters of accountancy degree, both from the University of Texas–Tyler, where he graduated summa cum laude as an undergraduate and was recognized with an Accounting Excellence Award from the Accounting Education Foundation. Gomez is a Texas board-certified public accountant and a graduate of the bank’s Leadership Academy. He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jane Henry has been promoted to assistant vice president/legal coordinator in Longview. She began her career with Texas Bank and Trust in 2006 in the lending division and is currently serving as the bank’s legal coordinator under loan services. Her responsibilities include handling foreclosures, repossessions, bankruptcies and filing lawsuits on behalf of the bank. Henry attended Kilgore College. She is a member of the Longview Museum of Fine Arts Guild and has been a passionate yoga instructor since 2010.
Rebecca Lynn was promoted to assistant vice president/training officer in Longview. She has been employed with the bank for the past 17 years. She has served in various roles in both the retail services and human resources divisions, most notably as a teller, branch services representative, training coordinator and, most recently, as the bank’s training officer. Lynn holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Tyler Junior College and certifications in bank training from InterAction Training, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and the Bolt Leadership Program. She was selected for Texas Bank and Trust’s Leadership Academy in 2014. Lynn has served in the community as the children’s director for Calvary Baptist Church and was recognized through the Longview Chamber of Commerce’s “40 Under 40” in program.
Courtney McAdoo has been promoted to assistant vice president and operations manager in Lindale/Hideaway. She has worked in the banking industry for 19 years, entirely in the Lindale area. She joined Texas Bank and Trust in 2017 in its Van branch as a bank services representative and transferred to the Hideaway Lake location as operations manager in 2019. In addition to her duties as operations manager, McAdoo has assisted Lindale High School students who serve on the bank’s student board of directors. She is also a graduate of the bank’s Leadership Academy.
