Savage and Fleming Promoted at FirstCapital Bank of Texas

October 2, 2021

Devin SavageMidland-based FirstCapital Bank of Texas has promoted Devin Savage to banking officer/portfolio manager at the bank’s Amarillo Hillside location. He has six years of bank industry experience and was previously an analyst in loan review. He also served as a credit analyst before his recent promotion to banking officer/portfolio manager.

Born and raised in Midland, Savage received his BBA degree in economics and finance from West Texas A&M University. He currently serves as the vice president of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity/Omicron Epsilon Lambda chapter and is a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Texas Panhandle, at which he serves as treasurer and chairman of the organization’s Black advisory council. He is also a board member and mentorship chairman of Elevate Amarillo and was recently named to Amarillo’s 2020 list of the “Top 20 Under 40,” as selected by the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce. 

FirstCapital Bank of Texas has also promoted Shannon Fleming to banking officer/branch manager at the Byers and Henrietta locations. Originally from Byers, she has 21 years of experience in the banking industry and previously served as a teller and a lending assistant at FirstCapital Bank of Texas while gaining experience in agriculture lending. Fleming serves on the board of directors for the Clay County Historical Society.

Established in 1998, FirstCapital serves the people of West Texas, North Texas, the Texas Panhandle and the Texas Hill Country.
