Sauer and Thomas Join The First National Bank of Eldorado

July 22, 2021

The First National Bank of Eldorado recently hired two seasoned community bankers.

Andrew Sauer joined the bank as senior vice president on July 12. He will manage The First National Bank of Eldorado’s recently opened loan production office in Colorado City. He will also serve as an advisory director on the bank’s board of directors. Prior to joining The First National Bank of Eldorado, Sauer served as vice president at City National Bank in Colorado City for the past 16 years, specializing in farm and ranch lending. He earned his BS degree in ag/economics from Texas A&M University.

Aaron Thomas was hired as assistant vice president on July 8. He came to The First National Bank of Eldorado from City Bank in Lubbock, where he worked for 16 years, most recently in the loan review department. Thomas graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA degree in history and a minor in business and holds his graduate degree in banking from Texas Tech University School of Banking.

“FNB Eldorado is excited about the hiring of both Andrew and Aaron,” says Mason Vaughan, president. “Andrew has roots in Schleicher County and provides us an opportunity for loan growth in Colorado City. He has a vast amount of knowledge in the farming and ranching field, both with lending and personal experience. Aaron brings lots of lending experience as well, and we think he will be a great asset to our team at FNB Eldorado.”
