Dallas-based PlainsCapital bank recently announced the promotion of Sean Mills to president of its Westlake banking group, Wade Morgan to executive vice president and Michael Ramirez to senior vice president of its downtown Austin lending group.
Mills will continue leading the Westlake banking team. PlainsCapital Bank’s longtime Westlake leader, John Levy, will continue to serve as president emeritus. Morgan will provide commercial lending and banking services to operating companies and investor real estate projects in the area. Ramirez will focus on managing loan and deposit portfolios and building relationships with the bank’s commercial lending clientele.
Mills has more than 17 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, all of which have been with PlainsCapital Bank. He joined PlainsCapital in 2002 after graduating from the University of Texas with his bachelor’s in finance. He subsequently completed the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
Morgan has been with PlainsCapital Bank for 12 years and has a total of 24 years of experience in commercial banking. He is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he earned his bachelor’s in finance.
Ramirez joined PlainsCapital Bank in 2009 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with his bachelor’s in finance. He has held various roles within PlainsCapital Bank’s Austin lending group, including vice president and assistant vice president.
