Larry Allen, CEO and chairman of the board at Lubbock-based Peoples Bank, recently announced the addition of two bankers to the team—Matthew Knies and Slade Terry.
Knies will serve as senior vice president and lender at the bank’s Princeton location. He has been in banking for five years. Knies received his BBA degree in finance and energy management from the University of Oklahoma. He is involved with Junior Achievement of Dallas Young Executives Society and also volunteers with United Way and the North Texas Food Bank.
Along with Allen, Terry’s hiring was also announced by Lacie Walton, senior vice president and manager of the mortgage department. Terry will serve as a mortgage loan originator and banking officer for the Peoples Bank Home Loan Center. He has been in banking for five years and will office at the bank’s Princeton location. Terry received a finance degree from Lubbock Christian University and is a current member of the university’s advisory board.
Established in 1968, Peoples Bank has 12 locations serving West Texas, North Central Texas and the Texas Panhandle.
