Fort Worth-based Bank of Texas has hired Grier Patton for its San Antonio corporate banking team. He will serve as a vice president. Patton brings more than 10 years of experience in corporate and commercial banking, including expertise in financial forecasting, financial analysis and specialized industries. He joins Bank of Texas from Truist Bank, where he served as a commercial relationship manager. He was a corporate lending associate for Texas Capital Bank in Houston earlier in his career and worked at BBVA Compass Bank before that.
Patton earned his BBA degree in finance from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He has also completed courses from Dale Carnegie Training. Patton currently serves on the board of the Texas Biomedical Research Institute Founders Council.
