D CEO Magazine Names 14 Bankers to its 2025 ‘Dallas 500’ List

November 27, 2024

In November, D CEO magazine, published by D Magazine Partners, released its 2025 “Dallas 500,” a special publication profiling the most powerful business leaders in Dallas and Fort Worth. This year’s list represents months of research, interviews and conversations with extensive, high-level contacts in the regional business community. It “goes far beyond corporate bios to reveal the personal side of the leaders who drive the North Texas economy and make it such a vibrant place to work and live,” according to the publication.

The editors of D CEO profiled the region’s most powerful top executives in more than 50 categories, including banking and finance. Dallas/Fort Worth bankers who made the list include:

  • Elaine Agather, chair of the Dallas region/managing director of The Private Bank, JPMorgan Chase & Co.;
  • Mandy Austin, president/commercial banking and North Texas region, Texas Regional Bank;
  • Jennifer Chandler, Dallas president, Bank of America;
  • Curtis Farmer, chair, president and CEO, Comerica Bank and Comerica Inc.;
  • Gerardo Garza, North Texas market executive, Origin Bank;
  • Malcolm Holland, CEO, Veritex Community Bank;
  • Rob Holmes, president and CEO, Texas Capital Bank;
  • Bruce Jackson, CEO, Santander Consumer USA;
  • Bryan Milner, market executive, Wells Fargo;
  • John Steinmetz, president and CEO, Vista Bank;
  • Sam Susser, chair and CEO, Susser Bank;
  • Mark Wade, CEO, Bank of Texas;
  • Nate Bennett, senior vice president/chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer, Comerica Bank; and
  • Lubbock Smith, senior vice president/director of community development and outreach, Vista Bank.
