Oklahoma-based Valliance Bank Welcomes Three Bankers in June

July 11, 2024

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based Valliance Bank, which has branches in North Texas, announced three new hires in June.

Michael KavalierMichael Kavalier has joined the bank as senior vice president/director of treasury. He has more than a decade of experience in community banking. Kavalier earned a BS degree in sports science from Iowa State University. He subsequently completed a master’s degree in health and human performance followed by an MBA degree, both from Oklahoma State University. Kavalier also graduated from the Oklahoma Bankers Association Emerging Leaders program and has been recognized by Oklahoma Magazine as a “40 Under 40” honoree. Kavalier volunteers as an assistant bench coach for Ames, Oklahoma, sports teams.

Shelley McManamanShelley McManaman has been hired to serve as senior vice president/director of compliance and risk. She brings more than 26 years of banking experience, as well as experience as a business owner, to her new role. Prior to joining Valliance Bank, McManaman spent four years developing and maintaining the compliance program for a local bank. From 2004 to 2017, she owned her own company providing bookkeeping and payroll services to several clients. She has more than 14 years of compliance management experience with broad expertise in consumer lending, operations, BSA, audit and compliance risk management. McManaman attended El Reno Junior College. She is a certified regulatory compliance manager and currently serves on the Oklahoma Bankers Association’s compliance school board.

Stephanie KingStephanie King has joined Valliance Bank as vice president/learning and development officer. With more than two decades of experience under her belt, she has honed her skills in creating and implementing effective training programs that foster growth and success within organizational teams. She has served on the basic/intermediate school board, operations school board and compliance school board with the Oklahoma Bankers Association and on the fraud board with the American Bankers Association. King advocates for autism and Alzheimer’s awareness and supports Positive Tomorrows, Dress for Success and women’s advocacy groups.

Established in 2004, Valliance Bank operates Oklahoma branches in Oklahoma City and Norman, as well as Texas locations in McKinney and Fort Worth.
