Oklahoma-based First United Bank Names Rodman Dallas Market President

October 11, 2023

Rick RodmanOn October 3, Durant, Oklahoma-based First United Bank announced that Rick Rodman will serve as Dallas market president. He has more than 30 years of experience in the middle-market and business banking segments. Most recently he served as managing director/head of business banking for a regional bank in Texas. He has also worked for larger financial institutions, including Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan Chase.

“Rick’s extensive experience, dedication and deep passion for the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex align perfectly with First United Bank’s purpose,” says Greg Massey, CEO.

“Rick’s history of attracting and developing talent is instrumental to First United’s long-term success in Dallas,” says Ryan Suchala, DFW regional president. “He has the capacity to uphold the best interests of our clients, the bank and our community while creating solutions that benefit all stakeholders.”

Rodman is a Texas native, earning both his BBA degree in finance and real estate and an MBA degree in finance from Baylor University. He is active in the community, volunteering with Cornerstone Community Development Corp., Christian Community Action, Feed My Starving Children and Preston Trail Community Church.

“First United’s culture, purpose, vision and values are truly unique,” Rodman says. “We have the privilege to holistically serve each of the communities and businesses comprising the greater Dallas marketplace.”

Established in 1900, First United Bank serves more than 60 communities with 77 banking locations, including 39 branches in Texas.
