Millette Joins R Bank as Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President

April 2, 2025

Chris MilletteRound Rock-based R Bank has hired Chris Millette to serve as executive vice president/chief information officer. He will lead the bank’s information technology strategy. Millette has served as a technology leader for several community banks, driving digital transformation, cybersecurity enhancements and regulatory oversight of operational efficiency.

Prior to joining R Bank, Millette was senior vice president/information technology at Keystone Bank in Bee Cave for nearly four years and, prior to that, was IT manager at Pioneer Bank SSB in Dripping Springs for seven years. He has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years.

Millette completed the Texas Bankers Association’s management development program in 2012. He serves as delivery manager for Sleep in Heavenly Peace Inc. and volunteers with CASA of Travis County, the Lorena Volunteer Fire Department. He is a member of the Dripping Springs chapter of Rotary International and the Austin Presbyterian Pilgrimage Inc. and is an elder at Dripping Springs Presbyterian Church.

“Chris brings a wealth of experience in financial technology and we are excited for his leadership in advancing our IT strategy to better serve our customers and communities,” says Todd Engemoen, president and CEO.

Established in 2009, R Bank operates 10 branches in Central Texas and Fort Worth.
